GAME WORN JERSEY EBAY AUCTIONS

On April 29, Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced that the Worcester Sharks will auction off selected home and away game worn jerseys from the 2010-11 season, the fifth anniversary season, during an online auction through eBay and www.sharksahl.com beginning on Sunday, May 1 at 8p.m. {EST} and concluding on May 8 at 8p.m. {EST}.  Whose jerseys are being auctioned off?  Only some of the biggest names to ever suit up for the Worcester Sharks {all head shot pictures courtesy of www.theahl.com}.

TREVELYAN’S GOALS FOR CHARITY

On April 28, Worcester Sharks forward T.J. Trevelyan presented a check for $1450 to Team Cystic Fibrosis Northeast as Trevelyan pledged $50 for each goal he scored during the 2010-11 season {Trevelyan led the Worcester Sharks with 19 goals} to be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Northeast team and the Worcester Sharks Booster club contributed with a $500 donation for the cause.  Worcester Sharks radio play-by-play announcer Eric Lindquist posted a video of the donation on the Worcester Sharks official YouTube channel, “Sharksvision,” which can be viewed below.

MATT IRWIN INTERVIEW

On April 26, Lindquist posted the following interview on “Sharksvision” with Worcester Sharks rookie defenseman Matt Irwin {pictured above}, who in 72 games played with Worcester had 31 points {10 goals, 21 assists}, 43 penalty minutes, 16 power play points {6 goals, 10 assists} and two game winning goals.  Irwin did receive one call up to the San Jose Sharks on February 18 but did not play.
